Merry Meet!

Greetings, my name is Gail aka "WinterSky".,
I am founder of this event and was the coordinator for the first two years, 1999 & 2000, assistant coordinator and advisor 2001, advisor 2002, 2004. Consultant 2005 and 2006. In 2007 I became coordinator again, and for 2008 I was a consultant.

For the 2007 event I was pleased to announce that I was once again coordinating the event and that Ancient Cauldron was hosting again, with the support of many other groups and individuals throughout our Pagan Community.

For the 2007 event we were proud to bring the festival back to its roots, back to its original name and location, and honoring "Pagan Pride Day". Our main goals were, education, honoring spiritual diversity and "sharing the abundance of the harvest" by having both a food drive and a blood drive. The event began with an opening blessing and a magickal procession, which lead everyone through the event ending at the main ritual area, where the opening ritual of blessings and prosperity took place. There was a main Harvest ritual both days, along with other rituals, a wide variety of presentations, performances, entertainment and much, much more through the weekend, including 12 top Pagan authors in 2007!

Admission was Free!
We encouraged everyone to bring one or more non-perishable food donations which were given to a local food locker.

There were also many Free
Presentations, Classes, Workshops, Rituals & entertainment.

Here were ways volunteers could help:
* Do a Vendors booth, have your products or service available
* Do an information booth: Non-profit organizations, Groups, Groves, Covens, etc.
* Do a presentation or workshop
* Host a discussion circle, choose your topic or one from our list of suggestions.
* Host a ritual.
* Host one or more Rites of Passage ceremonies.
* Donate an item for our door prize or opportunity drawing
* Be a Sponsor - make a cash donation, or take out an add in our brochure for the event.
* Volunteer - to set up an altar for the altar display, or help in one of the other many areas of this event.
* Entertainers/Performers Needed, what is your specialty?
* Host an author - provide room and board or transportation while they are here.
